About the Cause.

The Marta Washington Gore Foundation Scholars Program is a year-long virtual mentorship program for college freshmen. We empower historically underrepresented students with learning and behavioral health challenges by providing scholarships, mentorship, and academic support.

Why HYROX?

HYROX isn't just a race — it's 8 stations and miles of proof that you are capable of more than you think. Whether you cross the finish line exactly as planned or have to dig deep, adjust, and push through, the lesson is the same: resilience is the real win. That's the same mindset we want every MWGF Scholar to carry into their first year of college!

Let's Race.

We are racing HYROX to raise funds to support programming and scholarships for students. The first year of college is one of the hardest transitions a young person can make. For too many students of color, it's also one they may face without enough support.
