Our Scholars

The Marta Washington Gore Foundation Scholars Program is a virtual, one-year initiative designed to empower high school seniors from historically underrepresented backgrounds who are navigating behavioral health or learning challenges. This program provides high school seniors with both financial support and tailored mentorship to ensure a successful transition into college. Grounded in the values of resilience, equity, and community, the program equips students with practical tools, guidance, and a nurturing support system to thrive academically, personally, and professionally.

My name is Ary Huitron, and I am from the Bay Area, CA! My hobbies and extracurriculars include volleyball, ballet folklorico, art, listening to music, hanging out with friends, and studying in coffee shops. Alongside this, I enjoy reading and watching forensic and true crime TV shows. I plan to major in Forensic Science with a minor in Spanish at Saint Louis University to pursue a career with the FBI.
